JOB SUMMARY:
OnPoint Community Credit Union is seeking a motivated and experienced Risk professional to join our Enterprise Risk Management team as a Manager, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). In this role, you will support the execution and continuous improvement of OnPoint’s ERM programs and help ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal standards. Reporting to the SVP/Chief Risk Officer, this position plays a key role in supporting second-line-of-defense activities and risk initiatives across the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinate and lead entity-level risk assessments.
- Drive the implementation and maintenance of the ERM framework, including risk appetite metrics and risk taxonomies.
- Develop and lead a team of risk practitioners in the build out the Enterprise Risk Management Program Standards (risk taxonomies, issues management, etc).
- Partners with business units to document processes and controls, identify potential risks, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Assists in understanding and challenging current risk profiles and develops strategies to manage risk in line with company strategy and corporate risk appetite.
- Develop protocols for review and launch of new products (includes UAT, marketing, disclosures, etc).
- Prepare risk reports and dashboards for senior management and committees, track action plans and issue remediation Provide training and guidance to business units on risk management practices, GRC tools, and policy compliance.
- Manage the enterprise risk framework’s model identification, inventory, and tracking processes, ensuring all risk models are accurately catalogued and monitored throughout their lifecycle.
- Coordinate with business units and validation teams to maintain data integrity, compliance, and timely reporting on model performance.
- Contribute to control testing and monitoring efforts to ensure the effectiveness of business-critical processes.
- Identifies processes and control weaknesses through gap assessments and recommends improvements in areas including program governance, design validation, data management, training and testing.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Demonstrates extensive-level knowledge of designing and implementing ERM frameworks and associated SME disciplines
- Ability to identify relevant risk mitigation around contracting, client acceptance and engagement scoping
- Strong analytical skills and experience with risk-management or GRC platforms (e.g., MetricStream, RSA Archer).
- Excellent project-management abilities, with a track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives on time.
- Effective communicator, able to present risk insights to both technical and executive audiences.
- Ability to lead deliverable review and quality assurance over engagement team support
- Ability to identify and address needs, including developing and sustaining relationships
- Proven success leading teams to establish direction and coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation
- Facilitates project introduction, kick-off meetings & weekly status meetings, while creating and managing project timeline
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related field (master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of Enterprise-risk experience in financial services including entity level risk assessment and risk appetite development and monitoring.
- 2 years previous supervisory experience
- Relevant professional banking certifications is a plus
