JOB SUMMARY
The Comp & HR Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the human resources function at OnPoint Community Credit Union. This position is responsible for analyzing data, conducting research, and providing recommendations related to compensation, and other HR-related matters. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and data-driven individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Conduct market research and analysis of salaries and benefits for various positions within the credit union and the financial services industry.
- Analyze compensation data to identify pay gaps, inequities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain salary ranges, job descriptions, and compensation structures.
- Assist in the annual salary review process, including data analysis, recommendations, and reporting.
- Consult with and advise management on compensation decisions, including promotions, bonuses, and merit increases.
- Partner with HR leadership to create/review and recommend adjustments to our existing compensation program
- Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data, including employee turnover, workforce demographics, and training and development data.
- Prepare and present HR data reports and dashboards to management.
- Identify trends and make recommendations based on data analysis.
- Participate in various HR projects, such as compliance audits, HRIS system upgrades and maintenance
- Conduct research and analysis to support HR initiatives and strategic goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or a combination of relevant education and equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years’ experience in human resources, with a primary focus on compensation
- 1-2 years’ experience in people/data analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- PHR/SPHR or other relevant HR certifications.
- Experience with compensation software (e.g., Payfactors)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Requires close visual acuity
- Frequent use of hands to manipulate/grasp objects and forward reaching.
- Use of computer keyboard, calculator, and other office equipment.
