Job Summary and Responsibilities/Duties 

**This position will coordinate the Educator Employee Wellness grant (https://oregonwellbeing.org/offerings/grants/eew/) funded by the Oregon Well-Being Trust (https://oregonwellbeing.org/). This position offers a flexible schedule not to exceed 950 hours annually - occasional evenings may be required. 

This is a grant funded position. Continuation of employment is contingent upon the availability of continued receipt of these funds.

Job Summary

Coordinates and promotes a comprehensive, grant-funded wellness program. Leads program creation, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborates with college departments, councils and committees to design, deliver, and implement programming.

Essential Duties

  1. Coordinates and implements a comprehensive well-being program for employees. Develops plans for programming, communication, and assessment of program offerings.
  2. Facilitates and convenes the wellness committee.
  3. Works to gather employee feedback on wellness needs and identify appropriate programming. 
  4. Establishes a model to assess programming for effectiveness and participant satisfaction. Evaluates participant feedback and engagement to identify opportunities for continuous program improvement. 
  5. Identifies instructors and assists with contracting and/or hiring.
  6. Oversees planning, coordination, and execution of events at various MHCC sites.
  7. Coordinates fee waivers for employees, seeks donations, and procures incentives for college-sponsored employee events as appropriate. 
  8. Creates term-end reports and presentations to leadership and campus community.
  9. Tracks budget and expenses ensuring grant compliance

Additional Duties

  1. Performs all other duties as assigned. 

Minimum and Desired Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications 

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience/Training: 
  • Minimum (2) years of experience providing administrative support or program coordination.
  • Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders in a diverse population
  • Current driver's license, insurance and access to reliable automobile during work hours for transportation to off-campus sites. Must have at least three (3) years of driving history.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in program and event planning and coordination
  • Experience in meeting facilitation
  • Experience tracking expenses and determining budgets with detailed record keeping and reporting
  • Experience in grant coordination, reporting and grant-proposal review.  
  • Experience marketing and promoting programs

Working Conditions

Work is typically performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a computer terminal. Visual eye strain and repetitive hand/wrist motion for data entry and keyboarding functions.
