The purpose of this position is to provide direct management and leadership for clinical operations of the Transfusion Service section and personnel oversight for the Core Lab evening and night shift personnel, Center for Health and Healing (CHH), and to support the mission and objectives of OHSU Healthcare. The incumbent works cooperatively with the Administratiave Department Director and the appropriate medical directors to manage the physical and human resource assets of the department in accordance with departmental, hospital, and corporate policies. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining all laboratory operations at high standards consistent with all quality policies and meeting all accreditation requirements.
