As a member of this group, the successful candidate will perform inspections of mechanical and green stormwater infrastructure, for both public and private facilities, to help the City maintain compliance with the Stormwater NPDES permit and Stormwater Management Plan. As part of the Inspections Team, you will help problem solve issues found during field inspections of both vegetated Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) and mechanical infrastructure. On occasion, this position supports other workgroups including, Stormwater Operations and Maintenance, Environmental Outreach, Natural Areas, Stream Crew, and Environmental Monitoring.This is a physically demanding job that includes working in the field year-round and lifting and moving heavy objects.The ideal candidate will be able to apply their knowledge of and skills with moderately complex, technical, sub- professional engineering for working with public stormwater infrastructure; be a team player, but also be able to work independently; be customer service oriented; and have a knack from problem solving.Inspections:
