Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) is searching for an Information Technology Manager. This position is responsible fornetwork infrastructure, technological solutions, and supervising the district's Information Technology Department. Working in collaboration with leadership and organizational stakeholders, the manager aligns the district's vision for technology, investments, and initiatives with the district's Strategic Plan and operational needs to effectively integrate technology into District culture to enhance customer experience and District operations.
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in government IT, strong leadership skills and proven experience in efficiency and productivity. The incumbent will be expected to enable a culture of inclusivity, innovation and accountability. They will prioritize district need, focus on policy development, understand and work on budget and employee development.
This position receives general direction from the director of communications and exercises direct supervision over assigned staff.

Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that would likely provide the applicant with the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
A bachelor’s degree with major course work in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work-life experience, and a minimum of seven (7) years of increasingly responsible experience in a full-service information services/technology department, with an emphasis on networking, planning and service, including a minimum of three (3) years of experience in management or as an expert individual contributor responsible for leading employees and projects.
Licenses and Certifications:
CLP-Certified Linux Professional (version 9 and 19) preferred.
Certified change management professional (Prosci) preferred
ITIL Foundations Certification preferred
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
