The Employee and Labor Relations Team in the Department of Human Resources is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner! Our team members collaborate with a portfolio of departments to ensure fair, respectful, productive, and consistent management of staff; partner with leaders including union representatives; and provide support within the framework of our core organizational mission, values, and objectives. One key area of focus is to proactively support employees and managers in advancing our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. You should have the ability to build and maintain trusting relationships; collaborate with and influence managers within the organization; and create, audit, and sustain positive workplace relations programs. Balancing time between projects and time-sensitive personnel issues is a critical component for success. This position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration or Management, or other related degree program from an accredited institution of higher education; AND four (4) years of professional level human resources experience related to the position; OR
- An Associate Degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration or Management, or other related degree program; AND six (6) years of professional level human resources experience related to the position; OR
- A high school diploma/GED; AND eight (8) years of professional level human resources experience related to the position.
Preferred Requirements:
- Professional certifications such as Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or other HR discipline specific specialties.
Additional Requirements:
- Must pass a criminal background check.
