The role:
Our Urban Mobility Office is recruiting for a business operations manager! In this key leadership role, you will prepare, monitor and administer the project controls for our multi-billion investment-based Urban Mobility Strategy and indirect office budget of approximately $2.5 million. You will lead a team of executive support specialists and project controls and contract management staff and establish business standards and practices for all programs within our office. Minimum qualifications:
Six years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience;
OR
Three years of related experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
Special qualifications:
Driving is an essential function of this position. You must have a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record. We will conduct pre-employment driving records checks on our final candidate(s). Your license does not have to be issued in Oregon to be considered.

- Extensive effective communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated commitment to creating a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
- Experience developing, managing and estimating budgets of business operations programs.
- Experience in researching properties, acquiring leases, and administering lease agreements on behalf of the owner for commercial building use, or sale/transfer of public land and air rights.
- Experience and skill in providing easy-to-use reports/dashboards that monitor project/program financial performance (i.e. budgeting, forecasting) for business operations.
