Land Use and Transportation (LUT) is now hiring a Financial Analyst in the Administrative Services Division.

The Position
The Financial Analyst helps prepare the division's and special fund's annual budgets, supervises the accounts payable function for the division, prepares financial reports, updates financial forecast models for special funds and analyzes and reviews financial activity reports with the Senior Administrative Manager and Department Leadership. This position reports to one of two Senior Financial Analysts in the department.

Budget preparation involves working with the Senior Administrative Manager, Senior Financial Analysts, and other managers and staff over several months to prepare, review, and analyze the department's requested budget. The total department budget is approximately $579 million and includes 336 full-time positions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or a related field; AND two (2) years of progressively responsible professional experience performing budgetary or financial analysis, or auditing; OR

• An Associate's Degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or a related field; AND four (4) years of progressively responsible professional experience performing budgetary or financial analysis, or auditing; OR

• Six (6) years of progressively responsible professional experience performing budgetary or financial analysis, or auditing, of which at least four (4) years of experience must be in the public sector.
