Salem, Oregon (Hybrid)

Salary: $10,311 – $15,964 per month (PERS qualifying salary range reflects an additional 6.95%)

In this role, you will lead the transformation of Oregon’s enterprise procurement system, oversee statewide professional training and certification, and shape how state agencies purchase goods and services to deliver greater value for Oregonians.

 

Your leadership will directly influence:

 

  • Statewide procurement policy and best practices

  • The state’s procurement equity initiative

  • Oregon’s eProcurement system and modernization efforts

  • Training and certification for the statewide procurement workforce

 

You will also serve as a trusted advisor to government officials—balancing innovation, accountability, and service delivery in every decision.

 

Due to the nature of this position, you may be required to report to the Salem office on short notice. Our preference is that you live within one hour of Salem. Relocation assistance may be available.

What We Are Looking For

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Seven years of management experience; OR

  • Four years of management experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.

 

Preference may be given to candidates with:

  • Demonstrated experience leading customer focused public procurement initiatives.

  • Leading modernization and business transformation efforts in a public sector environment.
