JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician I

SUPERVISOR: Director of Facilities

HOURS PER WEEK: 40hrs/Non-Exempt (Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm, on-call every 2-3 weeks)

DEPARTMENT: Facilities

HIRING BONUS: $1,000 after 90 days

PRIMARY FUNCTION: To perform and assist with maintenance functions at all clinic locations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
1. Responsible for Safety/security, maintenance, landscaping, removal of snow, and other property operations. * 
2. Monitor clinic grounds and maintain clean appearance. * 
3. Change light bulbs. * 
4. Required to maintain work schedule and schedule preventive maintenance* 
5. Perform routine and incidental maintenance such as painting, plumbing and minor repair work* 
6. Perform pick-ups and deliveries as well as move furniture and cabinets. * 
7. Clean and sanitize spills and equipment, including carpet and furniture. 
8. Repair, paint, and power-wash building exterior. 
9. Remove leaves and garbage with air blower. 
10. Work with and improve inventory control and inventory systems. 
11. Travel between locations. * 
12. Other duties as assigned. 
13. Attend work regularly as scheduled. * 
14. Participate as an active team member in a patient-centered medical home.
15. Employees will not be discourteous or disrespectful to a customer or any member of the public while in the course and scope of company business. * 
16. Work in a cooperative manner with management/supervision, coworkers, customers and vendors.*

REQUIREMENTS:
Current Driver’s License (good driving record)
One year of experience in construction, maintenance, or trade field (HVAC, plumbing etc)

Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients and staff 
Knowledge of medical equipment and how it functions

Customer service skills 
Experience in plumbing, mechanical, light carpentry, and electrical
