Description

The Program Manager will oversee the implementation and management of the Abil-IT Training Program.  This role includes coordinating all activities, managing and developing Abil-IT team, collaborating with internal and external partners and ensuring the program meets all objects effectively and efficiently.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Develop and implement start-up of the program 35%

  • Put together project plan with milestones, tasks and timelines
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners
  • Facilitate regular meetings with project team and advisory partners
  • Collaborate and consult with external partners, including Melwood, the Department of Education and other stakeholders

Oversee day-to-day operations and logistics 45%

  • Select, manage and develop direct reports
  • Manage budget
  • Allocate resources effectively and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with all program requirements and maintain high standards of program delivery

Monitor and evaluate program performance outcomes 15%

  • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assign individual goals to each team member
  • Provide regular reporting and program results

Other duties as assigned 5%

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience with data analysis, evaluation and reporting
  • Proficiency in using project management software (Asana) and tools
  • Team management expertise

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years of experience in program management
  • BA degree in Education, Business Administration or related field of study; Masters preferred
  • Strong connection with disability; experience with neurodiversity preferred
