Lane County Technology Services is seeking a Senior Programmer & Systems Analyst to join our Business Services team. This role primarily supports and develops C# applications for divisions within Public Works such as Roads & Bridges, Engineering & Constructions Services, and Waste Management. This position also supports, administers, and develops integrations with vendor applications. In this role, you will need to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, adapting to evolving priorities while working in a dynamic, team-focused environment.
Key responsibilities include:

Administer and develop C#/.NET applications.

Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to manage and integrate data.

Work on the configuration, integration, and programming of vendor systems.

Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve application performance for various Public Works divisions.

Support legacy applications that may include MS Access, Visual Basic, and other technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience
- Four years of systems analysis and programming experience that demonstrate increased responsibility in application software maintenance and development.
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Highly proficient in C#/.NET programming
- Practical experience with Model, View, Controller (MVC)
- Adept at leveraging the Entity Framework
- Strong understanding of the .NET Framework
- Well-versed in MS SQL Server database management and development
- Extensive experience with WinForms and WebForms
Special Requirements:
- If required to drive, must be in possession of a valid driver's license at time of application, and a valid Oregon Driver's license by the time of appointment.
