Oregon State University is hiring an Assistant Director of Sponsored Programs Award Management to join our growing leadership team in the Office for Sponsored Research and Award Administration (OSRAA) under OSU's Division of Research and Innovation. Oregon State University is located in Corvallis Oregon, a beautiful Pacific Northwest college town. This position is also open to remote and hybrid options.

The Assistant Director of Sponsored Programs Award Management provides leadership and oversight for the central office teams responsible for non-accounting post-award compliance and subaward contracting and monitoring. OSU's research portfolio includes approximately 2,100 sponsored projects with annual expenditures above $420 million and more than 500 outgoing subawards issued as part of this portfolio. This role assists with university-wide leadership on policy, process and workflow development and improvement, and advises OSU faculty and staff on complex grant and contract matters.

We are looking for a creative and innovative leader who will support continued progress of our growing research administration teams, prioritize a broader, team-oriented environment through collaboration with campus partners, manage workflows for consistent research support, and engage in OSU's upcoming financial and grant management system implementations.
