The City of Beaverton’s Office of Equity and Inclusion is seeking a collaborative leader to be the city’s next Equity and Belonging Manager and shape the future of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) work in Oregon’s largest metropolitan area.
As an experienced and resourceful DEIB champion, the Equity and Belonging Manager serves as a Strategic Advisor to the Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer and leads the development and implementation of citywide DEIB efforts to cultivate a culture of belonging for staff and residents. This position will guide and shape the city’s strategic vision and develop a comprehensive DEIB strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of developing successful equity and belonging initiatives, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a commitment to promoting an inclusive environment in all aspects of city governance and community life. This is a full-time, exempt, Management 2 (M2) position. There is one vacancy.

Wage range: $7,000.40 - $9,382.15 monthly
Starting rate will be determined depending on relevant work experience as outlined in the Equal Pay Act. New hires who meet minimum requirements will start at step one. Higher steps may be offered to those who have additional years of directly related experience to the position within the posted wage range.
