The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality is searching for individuals to participate on the Equity Advisory Committee for Oregon’s Climate Protection Program. The program is designed to reduce climate pollution from fossil fuels used in Oregon 90% by 2050.
The deadline to submit your interest to be on the committee is April 4, 2025.
Equity advisory committee
The committee is a key partner for DEQ! The committee plays an important role in determining what types of climate pollution reduction projects are funded and where. Some example projects could include community solar, residential heat pumps, electric vehicle incentives, weatherization, industrial process decarbonization, and more. DEQ will hold an info session on March 11, 2025, by Zoom webinar for individuals and organizations interested in learning about the Climate Protection Program and the committee, including how to apply. .
