- Develop and execute annual fundraising plans and strategies to meet revenue targets and sustain organizational growth.
- Cultivate and steward relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, and other stakeholders to maximize philanthropic support.
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities through grant writing, sponsorship solicitation, and fundraising events.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and staff to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals and priorities.
- Manage donor databases, gift processing, and acknowledgments to ensure accurate and timely donor communication and stewardship.
- Monitor and evaluate fundraising performance, track progress towards goals, and provide regular reports to leadership and stakeholders.
- Able to engage with youth experiencing homelessness using a trauma-informed, culturally-responsive approach.
- Able to represent AMP at community events, networking opportunities, and donor engagements to raise awareness and support for the organization's mission and programs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, development, or related field, with a proven track record of success in donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and inspire donors and stakeholders.
- Excellent writing and grant writing skills, with experience in developing compelling fundraising proposals and grant applications.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices, philanthropic trends, and donor database management.
- Brand management and social media management and development.
- Commitment to AMP's mission and values, with a passion for social justice, youth empowerment, and arts education.
- College degree valued.
- Spanish fluency is valued.
