Hello, we're Metro! Metro is dedicated to shaping a better future for the greater Portland region. The work the people of Metro do every day benefits the lives of the people who live here, today, and tomorrow.

The Planning, Development & Research department is looking for a limited duration Associate Development Project Manager to play a key part in advancing the region's growth goals by supporting Metro's Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Program and the Affordable Housing Bond Site Acquisition Program (SAP).

Metro's TOD Program and SAP invest in higher-density, affordable and mixed-income housing along transit corridors and in development centers. This role, which will support both programs by evaluating real estate development projects for compliance with grant criteria, will guide decisions on grant awards and have a tangible impact on the future of urban development and housing equity in the Portland region. The successful candidate will work on meaningful initiatives with a collaborative, supportive team, while enjoying a significant degree of autonomy.

Join us in creating vibrant, sustainable, and inclusive communities across the Portland region, contributing to projects like the award-winning Orchards at 82nd Ave in Southeast Portland and Glisan Landing (Download PDF reader) in Northeast Portland. Current projects include redevelopment of parcels in Beaverton, Lake Oswego, Gresham, and Portland, as well as evaluating land banking opportunities to support equitable development along transit corridors.

DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION
At Metro, we strive to cultivate diversity, advance equity, and practice inclusion in all of its work. This means attracting and empowering a workforce that is inclusive of a broad range of human qualities.
