Description

The Landscape Technician role includes weeding, raking, mowing, and sometimes operating large equipment. Crews are dispatched from a main location and use company transportation to get to sites. This is a union-affiliated position (Laborers Local 483, Laborers' International Union of North America).

What you’ll do

  • Perform physical tasks such as weeding, raking, and carrying materials up to 50 pounds
  • Use landscape equipment safely and productively
  • Follow instruction of Foreman/Supervisor
  • Communicate job site conditions to Foreman/Supervisor
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to write and read simple instructions and short correspondence
  • Able to walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds in any kind of environmental conditions
  • Work independently with little or no supervision
  • Must have basic English reading and writing skills
  • Must have reliable form of transportation to job
  • Landscaping experience preferred
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to write and read simple instructions and short correspondence

Be a part of Relay’s Landscaping team providing important services from Gresham to Gaston and Vancouver to West Linn (and everything in between). We landscape federal courthouses, water treatment plants, commercial buildings, parks, some residential properties and a variety of government facilities.
