General Position Summary 

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for overseeing the company’s daily cash management activities, including processing payments, managing cash receipts, conducting banking operations, and supporting cash flow reporting. The role also involves assisting with bank reconciliations and ensuring the accurate recording of financial transactions. 

Major Responsibilities/Primary Functions 

  • Prepare and post daily cash transactions to the general ledger. 
  • Manage and process various payment requests on a regular basis. 
  • Handle daily banking activities, including transaction management, stop payments, and wire transfers. 
  • Record incoming cash receipts and ensure they are accurately allocated to the correct accounts.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. 
  • Prepare and analyze cash flow reports, identifying and addressing any variances. ? Review Accounts Receivable aging reports and assist with any discrepancies related to cash application. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any payment-related issues. 
  • Communicate with banking partners to address any issues related to transactions or accounts. ? Ensure accurate and timely posting of wire transactions. 
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external audit activities. ? Partner with Payroll and Benefits teams to ensure proper recording of related financial transactions. 
  • Provide support for ad-hoc projects and assist in financial reporting as needed.

Qualifications, Distinguishing Characteristics and Special Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role. 
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, clients, and vendors. 
  • Proven track record of building trust and demonstrating critical thinking and composure under pressure. 
  • Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently. 
  • Strong initiative, follow-through, and problem-solving abilities.
