Position Summary HDC’s asset management department is a growing team of project managers who are responsible for providing consulting services and technical assistance to community development corporations, housing authorities, funders, and lenders to support best practices in affordable housing asset management. The associate asset management project manager provides project coordination support to the HDC asset management team and works in coordination with team members to provide asset management technical assistance to clients. Additionally, the associate asset management project manager administers the Regional Long-Term Rent Assistance (RLRA) program’s Risk Mitigation Program (RMP) and the Portland Housing Bureau Risk Mitigation Pool alongside HDC asset management team members. This role will include processing reimbursement claims, supporting the HDC asset management team in facilitating an advisory committee affiliated with each program, meeting with RLRA program managers, and providing training to participating property owners, property management, and service providers. This position is expected to be a growth opportunity involving exposure to varied responsibilities for a person who is in the early stages of their asset management career.
