Join our team as a By-Name-List Coordinator! Council for the Homeless (CFTH) is looking for a passionate, driven leader to transform how our community addresses homelessness. CFTH works to end homelessness through advocacy, education, and coordination of resources. Our team collaborates with community partners to develop housing solutions that empower individuals and families. The By-Name-List (BNL) Coordinator will enhance community processes, co-develop a shared vision, provide project management, and promote relationship-building to sustain system-level improvements. This role will also ensure effective communication and knowledge-sharing between end users, providers, the community, and broader systems involved in homelessness response.  

 

Your skill and experience will support our mission as you:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including direct service providers, government agencies,  Persons with Lived Experience of Homelessness (PLEH) advisory groups, and housing providers.
  • Model and promote continuous quality improvement methods for system improvement and population-level change.
  • Develop community feedback and communication loops to collect broader community input and build PLEH input into decision-making structures.
  • Establish community-wide goals and efforts, monitors progress, and works with the core team to decide on project contributions.
  • Provide accountability and project management: follow up on action items, create communication lanes, set and facilitates meetings, and ensure data transparency.
  • Support strategic deployment of capacity by identifying underutilized resources and develop responsive structures.
  • Perform system analysis with stakeholders through risk assessments, asset and system mapping, and population-level data analysis.
  • Support providers in their tests of change by establishing improvement projects, facilitating goal-setting, and serving as an accountability partner.
  • Scale tests of change by collecting data on small-scale successes and distributing learnings to the broader community.

Pay and Benefits

  • The starting salary for this position is $26.24 per hour. In compliance with the Equal Pay & Opportunities Act, the full salary range for this position is $26.24 - $31.49 per hour.
  • Bi-lingual pay differential.
  • Full-time, exempt position. May be required to work a few hours on weekends and holidays when needed.
  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance for the employee only.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience working with people experiencing homelessness or with lower incomes.
  • Commitment to equitable access within the homelessness crisis response system.
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, and cultural humility skills.

Preferred Experience/Education

  • Lived experience as someone who has or had low-income and/or has formerly experienced homelessness
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication.
  • Speaks a language(s) other than English and reflects our diverse community.
  • Experience with working on or supervising a street outreach team.
  • Experience using HMIS or other databases.
  • Knowledge of Clark County resources and agencies that serve people experiencing homelessness.
