Salary Range: $58,573/yr - $80,517/yr
Schedule:Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm. Hybrid: Typically Remote M, W, F and In-office on T, Th, and as needed for projects/events.

Job Summary: The Grants Revenue Manager (GRM) is responsible for optimizing our financial and grants management systems, policies, processes, timelines, and controls. This role supports grant applications and creates comprehensible budget reports for required reporting, invoicing, and spend down oversight. The GRM works in partnership with the Grants Team (GT) and Accounting Team (AT), serving as a liaison between these two teams. The GRM works with implementation leads overseeing the projects and programs funded through grants. This position requires strong financial and accounting experience, preferably within a grant-funded, nonprofit environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Financial analysis and compliance for grants, contracts, and other agreements managed by the Foundation.

• Manage financial reporting for grants and contracts by working closely with Accounting Team (AT), Grants Team (GT) and program/project implementation leads to allocate expenses including purchasing, invoicing, billing, reimbursements according to budget and allowable costs under applicable agreements.

• Advises programmatic staff on expenditures related to funded programs.

• Partner with the Grants Team to develop and manage budgets, spend down plans, revenue projections and cash flow both immediate and strategic pre and post award.

• In collaboration with AT, GT, and all program staff, provide timely and accurate financial reports for funder reporting, invoice preparation and review, and other required items due to meet deadlines across all funding relationships. • Review and apply payroll allocation to grants and staff time and effort reporting to ensure compliance with funder and regulatory requirements.

• Support AT on audits and agreed-upon-procedures as needed, providing documentation, and drafting responses to audit questions.

• Support decision-making on grant expenses in coordination with GT and program staff, in accordance with the grant budget and funder requirements.

• Partner with AT to maintain industry best practices with respect to revenue recognition and grant financial reporting for nonprofits.

• Ensures all applicable procedures, workflows and accurate practices are documented.

• Ensures accurate entry, budget and report tracking of all funder-related activity in grants management tool/database.

• Identify, evaluate, and advise GT on opportunities for improved financial operations, recordkeeping, and reporting.

• Support the overall planning and execution of Foundation events.

• Attend applicable funder webinars, meetings and trainings as required.

• Handle protected health information (PHI) in a manner consistent with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, safe driving record and insurance coverage required.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

HIPAA Requirements:

The Grants Revenue Manager has access to PHI to create and maintain an accurate and up-to-date health record. Applying the minimum necessary standard of HIPAA, the designated record sets to which this employee will have access include all sections of the dental and medical record, patient demographic information in the practice management system, incoming records, reports, results, consultations, etc. The [position title] should read the content of these records only to the extent needed to accomplish the assigned task (e.g. filing or disclosure).

• Proficient with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting and CRM software.

• Demonstrated experience in problem solving and ability to find creative solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and handle simultaneous tasks.

• Solid analytical capabilities and excellent data presentation skills and strong writing skills.

• Proven ability to work both independently without close oversight, while also excelling in team settings, demonstrating initiative, and managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

• Proficiency in other languages, such as Spanish, preferred.

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.

• Three years of technical grant management experience required. This includes demonstrated experience managing grant budgets, expenses, and related operations, preferably in a nonprofit environment.

• Knowledge and understanding of public and private grants and grant management best practices.

• Working knowledge of US government federal regulations regarding fiscal management of federal funds such as OMB 2 CFR Part 200, Federal Acquisition Regulations; USAID Acquisition Regulations.

• Demonstrated proficiency with grant management tools/databases.
