Description

 

Provide office assistant support to the Medication Assisted Treatment Programs. Answer and direct phone calls, organize and schedule meetings and appointments, maintain electronic health record which includes scanning, faxing and updating information. Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters and forms. Assist in the preparation of utilization review and work with billing for reconciliation of insurance and payments. Routine administrative support to all staff, and interacting daily with patients to process paperwork, check them in and schedule future appointments. 

To perform a wide variety of typing, data entry, office support, general clerical and public contact work; and to perform related duties as assigned.

About the Division

The Lane County Medication Assisted Treatment Program uses a holistic model of treatment that embraces traditional abstinence-based recovery as well as harm reduction principles. We have a small, but dedicated team who provides medication assisted treatment services to help program participants reduce and ultimately end the use of heroin and other opioid drugs.

Schedule: Tuesday– Friday; 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday: 6:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Training:

  • Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.

Experience:

  • Two years of responsible clerical and office assistance experience.
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.

Special Requirements:

  • Immunization records/TB test within 10 days of hire
