Oregon State Treasury is recruiting for an experienced and seasoned Investment Analyst to join our Fixed Income team. This position will assist and support investment officers in their management of portfolios and trading activity.
Job Duties Summary
Identifying relative value by comparing current and historical relationships of curve steepness, spreads, broker/dealer inventories, and new issue securities versus secondary markets.
Facilitates the tracking, updating, dissemination, and file retention of investment Management Agreements that pertain to the Fixed Income asset class.
Work Schedule
This position will have the opportunity for a hybrid (remote and in-office) work location schedule; in-office work will be predominately from Treasury's '‹Tigard office'‹. This position is required to work in the office one day per week with additional time in the office while in training.
Salary Range
$79,620'¬ - $122,400'¬ annually.
There is a 6.55% cost of living adjustment that will be applied to the salary listed above. This is scheduled to happen in either January or February 2025.
Job Classification
This position is classified as an '‹Investment Analyst 3'‹. This position is '‹a SEIU represented position'‹. The Investment Analyst 3 is the third and senior professional level of a three level series.
Required Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance, or any other degree demonstrating the capacity for the above listed knowledge and skills and six years of professional experience in a similar analytical, operational or project management role; OR
