The Role:
The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supervising the accounts payable team. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Day to Day:
- Supervise and manage the accounts payable team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Maintain and update vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Review and approve payment runs, ensuring proper authorization and documentation.
- Resolve discrepancies and issues related to invoices and payments.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable aging reports.
- Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and present accounts payable reports to management.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Develop staffing needs, participate in employee selection keeping EEO and Affirmative Action goals in mind.
- Administer and promote the philosophies and directives of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Support Company’s commitment to a culture of safe work practices.
Come on your first day with:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or related field.
- Previous lead or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in SAP preferred and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid Office environment (3 days a week)
- Occasional overtime may be required.

Base salary range: $79,500.00 - $109,100.00 per year, depending on qualifications
Annual Target Incentive: Supervisor, 9.5% target
Targets are calculated using eligible earnings during plan year participation. Payout, if earned, is based on company and individual performance for each plan year and may range from 0% – 200% of target. Targets are subject to change in subsequent plan years. Must be employed by September 30 in order to receive any prorated payout.
