Position overview: 

The Personal Video Teller provides exceptional service and support to members through Interactive Teller Machinery and email. The VMA completes routine financial transactions while utilizing consultative selling techniques to recommend products and services that best meet members’ needs. A courteous, professional demeanor, technical aptitude, and attention to detail are essential in this role. 

 

Primary responsibilities: 

  • Displaying an engaging, on-screen presence, positive attitude, and effective communication style through video conferencing.  

  • Assisting members with a wide variety of transactions, account maintenance, and handling general inquiries and information requests. 

  • Providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service to members while processing their transactions. Maintains and balances virtual cash drawer. 

  • Utilizing consultative selling skills to identify member needs and make appropriate recommendations.  

  • Learning and maintaining technological skills for the operation of the Interactive Teller Machine (ITM).  

  • Ability to balance and prioritize a variety of tasks and member service issues. 

  • Adheres to all risk mitigation processes and procedures. 

Qualifications

Must-haves: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.  

  • 1+ years financial institution or retails sales experience.

  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies, processes, and procedures in a timely manner; Ability to seamlessly operate multiple computer systems simultaneously. 

  • Must possess a professional demeanor and ability to effectively communicate via email and video conference.  

  • Must be available to work branch hours, including Saturdays. 

  • Hybrid work schedule after initial 90-day training on-site. 

Nice-to-haves: 

  • Spanish speaking skills a plus.
